
There are thousands of wrecks dotted around the coast of Scotland, and while some are further afield like Scapa Flow, there are some very close to the main populations centre of the central belt.
The Clyde estuary has a long tradition of shipbuilding and marine commerce. As a result, there have many incidents that have led to a plethora of wrecks all within a relatively small area.
